PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture-proof cap for a heater, which prevents insulating resistance from being lowered by moisture absorption of the heater. SOLUTION: The moisture-proof cap for the heater includes a cylindrical member, a porous material having hygroscopicity, a net-like member having meshes finer than the diameter of the porous material, and a bag-shaped member having an opening part larger than the diameter of the cylindrical member, and the opening part of the bag-shaped member is made to closely contact the periphery of the sidewall surface of the cylindrical member. The cylindrical member may be fixed to the end part of the opening part by an adhesive, and the porous material may be a substance which discolors by moisture adsorption.
