<p>The mold has a functional layer arranged on a support and structured corresponding to embossing, and an electro-plated metal layer provided on the functional layer. The metal layer and the support are made of steel, fiber reinforced material, aluminum, aluminum alloy, nickel, nickel alloy, or foamed metal. The functional layer is formed as an electrically non-conductive polymer layer with an electrically conductive layer. The electrically conductive layer includes particles such as metal, metal alloy, gold, silver, copper, or nickel. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a gravure printing- and embossing mold for use as a sleeve and cylinder.</p> |
