The rail vehicle with a roof appliance housing, e.g. for air conditioning, has a cover (2) in a release mounting at the housing body (1) by toggle fasteners (3,4) on hinges at both sides of the housing body. The hinge axis is parallel to the toggle fastener mounting axis.
