A clamping device has a flange-like fastening part for fastening on a plastics welding machine. The fastening part has a first annular recess to receive a clamping component and a second recess to receive a spring mechanism acting radially on the clamping component. The clamping component has a projection(s) on an inner surface (4) which bears on an outer surface of a plastic molded part.
