PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional opening and closing device of a double-swing overhung door wherein the structure is troublesome, the number of parts is large, the cost is expensive, and the adjustment operation is also troublesome. SOLUTION: A wire is wrapped crosswise around a pair of side guide wheels. The pair of side guide wheels are inclined so as to approach each other in the direction in which the crossed pair of wires are generally parallel to each other at a predetermined interval in the horizontal direction. A pair of right and left hung doors are connected to the wire positioned generally parallel to each other at a predetermined interval so that one hung door and the other hung door are moved while rising in the mutually opposite directions when the other hung door is opened by the movement of the one hung door.
