Disclosed is a technique for easily manufacturing a hot plate at a lowered cost. A hot plate (10) includes a hot plate body (11) having one surface (12b) formed flatly with storage grooves (13) formed in the one surface (12b), and heat transmission elements (21 (21a)) buried in the storage grooves (13) in order to heat or cool the hot plate body (11). The hot plate (10) is characterized in that the heat transmission elements (21 (21a) are pressed toward the bottom-side of the storage grooves (13) at positions lowered toward the bottom-side of the storage grooves (13) than the one surface (12b)-side across the route of the storage grooves (13) by press portions which are formed by caulking the opening edges on both sides of the storage grooves (13) from the one surface-side.
