<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconducting rubber composition forming a semiconducting rubber roller or the like, of which compression set is small while flexibility is imparted by reducing hardness in order to maintain a predetermined nip thickness especially when a small diameter is obtained, so that settling and accompanied unevenness in an image are not easily occurred; and a semiconducting rubber roller 1 excellent in the respective properties above. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconducting rubber composition is obtained by adding 0.5-1.5 pt.mass of a thiourea-based vulcanization accelerator, 0.5-1.5 pt.mass of a guanidine-based vulcanization accelerator, and 0.5-2.0 pts.mass of a peroxide-based crosslinking agent to 100 pts.mass of a rubber component including copolymer rubber including ethylene oxide as a copolymerization component, and chloroprene rubber.
