<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make electric connection with neighboring cells easier by reducing an inner resistance of a solid oxide fuel cell SOFC. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell includes an electrolyte, an anode formed on one side of the electrolyte, a cathode formed on the other side of the electrolyte, with the anode and the cathode formed of a composite material of the solid electrolyte and a good electronic conductor. A chemical composition of the anode or the cathode is inclined in a direction of reducing a solid electrolyte density as either separates from the solid electrolyte, and a void ratio of the anode or the cathode is inclined in a direction of increasing as it separates from the solid electrolyte. Thus, deletion of an auxiliary electrode carried out through gradient functionalization of a chemical composition of cermets composed of the solid electrode and a good conductor of metal forming the anode leads to low resistivity, and by forming an outer layer of the multilayer anode of a soft porous good conductor of metal, direct connection with interconnectors of the neighboring cells is made possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
