<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter lock solution which achieves both bacteriostatic effects and blood compatibility and is used for the purposes of preventing blood coagulation in a hemodialysis and in the use of an artificial heart-lung or the other extracorporeal circulation apparatus, of preventing blood coagulation in inserting a vascular catheter, of preventing blood coagulation in blood transfusion and a blood test, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The catheter lock solution filling a conduit includes at least two areas for the catheter lock solution with different pH values in the inside of one end side and in the inside of the other end side of the conduit, wherein the pH value of the catheter lock solution in the area for the greater pH value shows blood compatibility in the acidified catheter lock solution showing bacteriostatic effects. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
