<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device displaying a multicolored image, improving color purity of blue, avoiding high voltage of a drive voltage, and extending the lifetime of an organic EL element. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL display device is equipped with a first organic EL element OLED1 including a first organic layer ORG having a first luminescent layer EM1 emitting red light and a third luminescent layer EM3 functioning as a hole blocking layer between a pixel electrode PE and a counter electrode CE, a second organic EL element OLED2 thinner than the first organic EL element while including a second organic layer ORG having a second luminescent layer EM2 emitting green light between the pixel electrode PE and the counter electrode CE, and a third organic EL element OLED3 thicker than the first organic EL element while having a third luminescent layer EM3 emitting blue light between the pixel electrode PE and the counter electrode CE. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
