PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car navigation system which uses a cellular phone that is more economical and convenient by maximally using a car navigation function of the cellular phone. SOLUTION: The car navigation system includes: a cellular phone 1 having a car navigation function itself, and having an output terminal 15 for outputting at least image information output to a portion of a body at least by the car navigation function to the outside; and monitor 2 having a display part 23 having a display area large enough to make a function as at least car navigation demonstrate at the front thereof as well as having a mounting part on any frame surface 21, in the vehicle, and having a cradle 4 including an input terminal 42 connected to the output terminal 15 of the cellular phone 1 to receive a video output from the cellular phone 1 to the display part 23.
