<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify processing when a power failure occurs in a game machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A backup power source and a power failure monitoring circuit are provided on a power supply board for controlling power supply to various kinds of control boards for controlling the operation of the game machine. When detecting the decline of a supply voltage, the power failure monitoring circuit outputs a power failure notice signal to the control board. The control board executes processing for the time of power interruption for making it possible to reproduce an operation state upon a power failure when power is restored by utilizing the power of the backup power source and then prepares for power stoppage. The processing for the time of the power interruption is not interruption processing but is branching processing to be executed at a defined position of a control loop. In such a manner, since the values of a stack pointer and a register or the like requested for reproducing the operation state upon the power failure become defined values, the processing for the time of the power interruption is simplified.
