PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately manage the date of walking data using a simple pedometer having no calendar function. SOLUTION: A pedometer having no calendar function stores and transmits measured walking data for one day to a host device. A processing part 408 of the host device receives the walking data from the pedometer through a first communication part 401, and stores the walking data in a storage part 406, and manages the date of the walking data by determining the reference date of the walking data based on the pedometer time and the storage time of the walking data stored in a pedometer walking data storage time storage part 407 and processing time to determine the reference date of the walking data by the processing part 408.
