PREPARING METHOD OF COBALT POWDER

PURPOSE: A method for preparing cobalt powder is provided to obtain cobalt powder of high quality within a short time by employing hypophosphorous acid as a reducing agent. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing cobalt powder comprises steps of: preparing suspension including cobalt chloride, making a mixed solution including cobaltous hydroxide precipitate obtained by adding NaOH to the suspension, and obtaining cobalt powder by adding hypophosphorous acid aqueous solution in which the reducing agent hypophosphorous acid is dissolved to the mixed solution, wherein the suspension and mixed solution making processes are carried out at 10~35°C.
