<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a motor-driven compressor stopping no motor by a step out without uniformly narrowing the operating range of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor command-speed generator 11 generates a motor command speed ωo on the basis of the set temperature of an air conditioner and an indoor temperature. A load decision part 17 decides the load state of the motor M by comparing a motor torque from a motor-torque arithmetic operation 15 and an overload decision threshold value Tz set by an overload decision threshold-value setter 16. A command-speed corrector 12 reduces a motor command speed when the motor is brought to an overload and sets a final command speed ωt, and a motor controller 13 drives the motor on the basis of the final command speed ωt. In a low speed region, the overload decision threshold value Tz is set high with the reduction of the fluctuation speed of the motor torque and the reduction of an overshoot after the decrease of the rotational speed of the motor. In a high-speed region, the overload decision threshold value Tz is set according to the change of a limit torque to the rotational speed of the motor regardless of the fluctuation speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
