<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce only stereoscopic images and reduce tired feeling of image observers even if two-dimensional and three-dimensional images are mixed and sequentially input together. <P>SOLUTION: When two-dimensional and three-dimensional images are mixed and sequentially input together, and reproduced, if it is determined that an input image is of a two-dimensional image (step S14), a plurality of disparity images that the two-dimensional image is uniformly shifted to right and left directions by a specified amount of disparity are generated based on the two-dimensional image (step S16), and then displayed (step S18). Thereby, only stereoscopic images can be sequentially reproduced and tired feeling of image observers can be reduced.
