<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of suitably forming the alignment layer of a color filter substrate by preventing electric conduction between a TFT element and the transparent conductive film of the color filter substrate. <P>SOLUTION: In the color filter substrate 140B of a liquid crystal panel 100B, a black matrix 143 is formed at a frame 143a partitioning openings 142 through which light is transmitted for each of a plurality of pixels and a portion 143b opposed to the TFT element 122 of an array substrate 120. A colored layer 144 is formed at the opening 142 partitioned by the black matrix 143. An insulating spacer 200B is disposed on the black matrix 143 in the portion 143b opposed to the TFT element 122. In the liquid crystal panel 100B, a gap S through which a resin material forming the alignment layer 146 passes is formed between the insulating spacer 200B and the colored layer 144 on the black matrix 143. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
