<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power transmitter capable of transmitting power with proper efficiency without changing the frequency of AC voltage of an AC power supply unit even if the impedance of a load changes. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact power transmitter 10 includes an AC power supply unit 11, a primary coil 12 connected to the AC power supply unit 11, a primary side resonance coil 13, a secondary side resonance coil 14 and a secondary coil 15 having a load 16 connected thereto. Distance changing means 20, 21 change a distance L1 in an axial direction between the primary coil 12 and the primary side resonance coil 13 and a distance L2 in an axial direction between the secondary coil 15 and the secondary side resonance coil 14 respectively. An impedance measuring means 22 indirectly measures the impedance of the load 16. A controller 23 controls the distance changing means 20, 21 on the basis of a result of measurement of the impedance measuring means 22 so that the distances L1, L2 in the axial direction may be identical to these previously set corresponding to the impedance of the load 16, and thus, the power transmission efficiency can be kept at a proper value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
