<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe line insertion device for excellently sucking air in a pipe line 3 without air leakage irrespective of various changes in the diameter of the pipe line 3 or an existing cable in the pipe line 3. <P>SOLUTION: A joint hose 4 having an elastic cylindrical member 41 having a bag portion 625 having an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the pipe line 3 and encapsulating air, and a sucking cylindrical portion 42 penetrating the elastic cylindrical member 41 in an axial direction independently from the bag portion 625 is prepared, and a front end of the elastic cylindrical member 41 is inserted into the pipe line 3 and air is injected into the bag portion 625.
