<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication method exchanging control information between adjacent base stations, while reducing a load imposed on a network between the base stations or a control station. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio communication method in the radio communication system for connecting base stations to each other via the network includes a step (S11) for an existing base station to transmit an address for identifying itself to a mobile station; a step (S12) for the mobile station to hold the address as address information; a step (S15) for the mobile station to transmit address information to a newly-installed base station; a step (S16) for the newly-installed base station to determine a base station for previously connecting itself thereto, based on the address information; and a step (S17) for the newly-installed base station to establish connection to the base station determined, based on the address information.
