摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure between an optical-electrical composite cable and a conductive ferrule, the connection structure providing a high connection strength. SOLUTION: The connection structure includes a sleeve 300 that functions as a part to be caulked and a cylindrical part 222 that is formed as a portion of the connection part 220 of a ferrule 200. The cylindrical part 222 has a thickness which is substantially equal to the thickness of a jacket 160, and functions as a difference-in-level dissolving part which dissolves a difference in level between the metal conductor 150 of the optical-electrical composite cable 100 and the jacket 160. When the ferrule 200 and the optical-electrical composite cable 100 are connected, a portion of the metal conductor 150 is exposed from the jacket 160, the cylindrical part 222 is located inside an exposed part of the metal conductor 150, and then they are inserted into the ferrule 200. As a result, an unnecessary gap is eliminated from inside the sleeve 300 and after that, the connection part 220 is caulked. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
