PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot and cold water mixing faucet capable of well discharging water in a wide band shape in spite of the compact configuration. SOLUTION: Hot water and cold water from a hot-water supply pipe P1 and a water supply pipe P2 are discharged from a laterally elongated discharge hole 8 positioned at the front of a faucet body 1 through a flat water passage which extends through the rear and upper sides of the faucet body 1 in this order after passing through the hot-water mixing part 5 and the flow control parts 4, 7 of the faucet body 1.
