摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assay method using surface plasmon having high sensitivity and high precision and excellent in specificity indispensable to immunoassay, an assay device and an assay kit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The assay method is characterized by including the following steps (a)-(d): step (a) of bringing a specimen into contact with a specific plasmon exciting sensor, step (b) of making a conjugate of a ligand and enzyme react with the plasmon exciting sensor of the step (a), step (c) of making a quenching agent substrate react with the plasmon exciting sensor of the step (b) to form a quenching agent, step (d) of irradiating the plasmon exciting sensor of the step (c) with a laser beam from another surface having no metal membrane formed thereto of transparent planar substrate through a prism to measure the quantity of the fluorescence emitted from excited fluorescent coloring matter, and step (e) of calculating the amount of the analyte contained in the specimen from the measuring results of the step (d).
