<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat distribution display showing heat distribution even with a great temperature difference, and a method for checking heat distribution using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This heat distribution display has, on a substrate, a heat distribution displaying layer including an organic polymer composite comprising an electron-donating dye precursor and a polymer, an electron-accepting compound coloring the electron-donating dye precursor, and a binder; wherein a volume-average 50% particle diameter X [μm] of the organic polymer composite and the content Y [g/m<SP>2</SP>] of the electron-donating dye precursor based on the entire solid content satisfy the following relation: 0.2<Y<0.194ln(X)+0.428. The heat distribution display satisfies formulas (1) and (2), wherein DA to DC each represents color optical density of the area colored by heating the heat distribution displaying layer at the temperature TA to TC, respectively; TA is a temperature [°C] at which the color density reaches to background optical density plus 0.1; TB is a temperature [°C] at which the color density reaches to maximum density minus 0.1; and TC is an intermediate temperature [°C] between TA and TB.
