PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer with water detection, which is compact and easily mounted and maintained, and has high reliability and durability to long-term usage. SOLUTION: In this oil strainer with water detection, a body 1 of the oil strainer disposed between a fuel supply system of a liquid fuel combustor and the combustor, includes a water detecting sensor 6 detecting that a specific amount of the water separating from fuel oil is accumulated on a bottom part of a cup 2, and a control board 11 in which the sensor is connected with an electric circuit for lighting a warning lamp 13 when the sensor 6 is electrically conducted due to rise of a water level, and a cock for stopping inflow of the fuel in taking out the cup to remove the water in response to the lighting of the warning lamp, is integrally configured.
