PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus for reducing artifact of an image by performing phase encode scheduling so that a phase shift between echo signals collected in cineradiography decreases and performing imaging. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: a data collecting means for splitting k space (K-SPACE) into a plurality of segments (SEGMENT) and collecting magnetic resonance signals (ECHO SIGNAL) corresponding to a plurality of time phases (#1, #2, #3, ...) of a subject for every segment (SEGMENT) in synchronization with a signal (ECG) representing pulsation; and an encode scheduling means for symmetrically setting a change of phase encode quantity (Ky) applied for every time phase in adjacent time phases so as to collect a plurality of magnetic resonance signals (ECHO DATA SET) continuously collected in accordance with respective time phases (#1, #2, #3, ...).
