PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for filling beverage, capable of rapidly and adequately disinfecting a bottle. SOLUTION: In the beverage filling method, the entire steps of molding a bottle 1 out of a heated preform 6 through blow molding, disinfecting the molded bottle in the mist of hydrogen peroxide, air-rinsing the disinfected bottle in aseptic air, and filling the beverage in the air-rinsed bottle and sealing the bottle are executed while the bottles are allowed to continuously travel. Before disinfecting the bottle after molding the bottle, the temperature of the bottle through the remaining heat when heating the preform is inspected, and any bottle with the temperature not reaching the predetermined value is excluded, and only the bottles with their temperature reaching the predetermined value are subjected to the disinfection and filling. Since only the bottles with their temperature reaching the predetermined value are brought into contact with the mist of hydrogen peroxide, the bottles can be rapidly and adequately disinfected, and the amount of use of hydrogen peroxide can be reduced.
