Provided is a method of producing a resin molding wherein durability performance can be exhibited when an impact force is applied or a heavy load is applied to a molding while reducing the positional deviation of an insert, the spreading of resin or the man hours during production. The method of producing a resin molding in which an insert (11) is exposed to the surface comprises arranging the insert (11) on the upper surface of a lower die (32) while arranging a holding member (14) on the insert (11), injecting a base material (12) consisting of thermosetting resin into the gap between the lower die (32) and an upper die (31) while pressing the insert (11) via the holding member (14) having an air gap formed previously to communicate with the interior by bringing the lower die (32) and the upper die (31) facing the lower die close to each other, and then pressing the holding member (14) by means of the lower die (32) and/or the upper die (31) until the holding member is deformed elastically.
