PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for a color filter, which is excellent in dispersion stability of a pigment and keeps excellent discharge stability for a long period of time, and is suppressed in color unevenness or density unevenness at each part, can display an image with an excellent contrast ratio, and has excellent uniformity of characteristics among individual bodies.

SOLUTION: The ink for the color filter is used for manufacturing the color filter by an inkjet system, and contains a pigment, a polymer X expressed by formula (19), a dispersion medium in which the pigment is dispersed, and a compound A expressed by formula (10).
