<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid film for optical use, which has excellent dimensional stability under heating and which is suitably used as an optical film, especially as a retardation film, more especially as an optical compensation film for a VA-mode liquid crystal display by using a polylactic acid film. <P>SOLUTION: The polylactic acid film has a crystal melt peak in a predetermined temperature range, has predetermined stereo-formation degree, has plane-direction retardation (Re) and thickness-direction retardation (Rth) in predetermined numerical ranges, and has a predetermined thermal contraction coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
