PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To neatly cut the cut-off face of the filling aperture of a container. SOLUTION: There is provided the method for forming the filling aperture of a synthetic resin container 10. In cutting a filling aperture forming part 16 by pressing and moving a knife 51 on the part 16 sideways, the knife 51 is mounted by inclining in such a way that anglesα,βformed by the two faces 51A, 51B structuring the knife 51 are different in the moving direction of the knife 51.
