PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sheet-like brazing filler metal applicable to a variety of brazing filler metals and specifically suitable for obtaining the sheet-like brazing filler metal used for brazing of stainless steel, Ni-based heat-resistant alloy or the like, to provide a sheet-like brazing filler metal manufactured by the method and a method of using the same, and to provide a heat exchanger obtained by it. SOLUTION: (1) In the method, raw material slurry obtained by mixing powdery brazing filler metal, binder, and solvent is fed onto a release sheet and is made to be a sheet-like shape, and it is dried and then is peeled off from the release sheet. (2) There is provided the sheet-like brazing filler metal manufactured by the method. Workability of brazing is remarkably improved, and thickness is uniform so that the quality of a blazing part is improved. (3) The method of using the sheet-like brazing filler metal is provided in which the sheet-like brazing filler metal is used for assembling the heat exchanger, specifically a primary surface heat exchanger.
