PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resolver that facilitates the management of air gaps and practically sufficiently improving reliability in the accuracy of detecting rotational angles. SOLUTION: The magnetic resolver 1 includes: a circular-ring-like rotor 3 rotatably arranged integrally with a rotating shaft 4; a pair of stators 21 and 22 which are arranged in such a way as to be opposed to the rotor 3 and to be on both sides of the rotor from lower and upper directions in the axial diction of the rotating shaft 4 and in which protrusion-shaped salient poles 21a, 21b, 22a, and 22b circumferentially protrude toward the rotor 3 at regular intervals; and coils 24, 25, 26, 27 wound on the salient poles 21a, 21b, 22a, and 22b. The magnetic resolver 1 detects the rotational angle of the rotor 3 through the use of the inductance of the coils 24, 25, 26, 27 changing according to the rotational angle of the rotor 3. The magnetic resolver 1 has a connection 23 for connecting the pair of stators 21 and 22, and the connection 23 holds the pair of the stators 21 and 22 in such a way as to be separated from each other at prescribed intervals.
