METAL HALIDE LAMP

摘要

PURPOSE: A metal halide lamp of a dc lighting type is provided to secure the stability of a back light unit by sealing the side of the halide lamp through a vacuum contraction sealing method instead of a pinch sealing method. CONSTITUTION: A metal halide lamp(10) is formed on the side tube of an exhaust pipe(12). A glass tube is sealed through a shrink sealing method instead of a pinch sealing method. The metal halide lamp is formed with the glass tube. A lead wire(18) is installed both side of a light emitting area. The lead wire is connected to an electrode through a molybdenum film(14). Bases(16) are combined with the both sides of the metal halide lamp. The both sides of the metal halide lamp are sealed through vacuum contraction sealing method.
