<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of reliably preventing liquid junction caused by water generated by power generation in a simple structure and ensuring a suitable insulation function. <P>SOLUTION: A first metal separator 16 and a second metal separator 18 are arranged in the fuel cell 10 by sandwiching an electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly 14. A plurality of inlet communication passages 28a and outlet communication passages 28b for communicating an oxidizer gas outlet communication hole 26, an oxidizer gas inlet communication hole 20a and an oxidizer gas outlet communication hole 20b are arranged on the surface 16a of the first metal separator 16. The outlet communication passage 28b is formed by a plurality of flow passage formation members 34b extending in the gravity direction, and connections 36a, 36b continued to the flow passage formation member 34b arranged on both ends in the horizontal direction are integrally prepared on a section of a first seal member 32 for seating around the periphery of the oxidizer gas outlet communication hole 20b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
