<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an antibacterial medical instrument, maintaining antibacterial performance at a high level over a long period of time, and an antibacterial medical instrument manufactured by the same. <P>SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing an antibacterial medical instrument includes: a first step of molding a material obtained by mixing thermosetting resin and silver-based particles to make a medical instrument; and a second step of heat treating the medical instrument at 80-300°C.
