<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jointing structure and a jointing method for a different kind of pipe, which can joint a synthetic resin pipe such as a polyethylene pipe and a metal pipe including a flexible pipe by improving the waterproof property and slipping-out strength. <P>SOLUTION: The jointing structure and jointing method for the pipe of the different kind include a receiving opening 13 provided at an end of the metal pipe 11 to fit and insert the end of the synthetic resin pipe 12, a centering and axial force receiving member 17 secured to the end inner periphery of the receiving opening 13 at several positions, a waterproofing member 18 made of butyl rubber or water expanding rubber and mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the receiving opening 13, and a caulking material 22 such as shrinkage-compensating mortar and resin mortar, which is filled and solidified in a clearance 21 between the receiving opening 13 and the synthetic resin pipe 12 fitted and inserted into the receiving opening 13. When the synthetic resin pipe 12 is inserted by the centering and axial force receiving member 17 secured in the inner periphery of the receiving opening 13, it is prevented from moving so as to be centered and jointed in a short time with excellent workability. Furthermore, the waterproofing member is completely jointed to the caulking material filled in the clearance and solidified through chemical reaction so as to achieve the waterproofing property and improve the adhesion strength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
