PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standardized ancillary unit which can be easily connected to a building unit, and which can be easily manufactured by being constitutionally simplified. SOLUTION: This ancillary unit 10, which is connected to one elevation surface of the rectangular parallelepiped-shaped building unit constituting a unit building, is constituted in a rectangular parallelepiped shape by including: four column materials 11, 11, 11A and 11A; four lower beams 12, 12, 13 and 13 for horizontally connecting lower ends of the column materials together; and four upper beams 14, 14, 15 and 15A for horizontally connecting upper ends of the column materials together. The two opposed upper beams among the upper ones are extended out from the two column materials so as to be turned into the extended upper beams 14 and 14; an end beam 16 for connecting leading ends of the extended upper beams is provided; and a roof surface is formed of the two extended upper beams, the two upper beams and the end beam. A rigidly-joined surface P1 is formed of the column materials 11 and 11 and a beam materials 13 and 15, and a rigidly-joined surface P2 is formed of the column materials 11A and 11A, a beam material 13, and an auxiliary beam 19.
