<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact and an electrical connector capable of raising extraction force of a connection target in a comparatively simple structure without increasing the number of components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The contact 1 has a coupling section 3 made from a member capable of bending and stretching. A spring section 6 connected to the first connection target and a connection 7 connected with the second connection target are extended from the coupling section 3. Further, the coupling section 3 is bent so as to surround one axis, and such a shape is maintained with a shape maintenance means 4.
