<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus for certainly inspecting the container fed on a feed line and equipped with a feed mechanism enabling the use of an existing line. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus includes a first feed means for supporting the bottom part of the container to feed the container, a second feed means for supporting the neck part of the container fed by the first feed means to feed the container and an inspection part for inspecting the container on the feed route of the second feed means. The inlet part of the second feed means is installed over the first feed means in a covered state and arranged so as to grasp the neck part of the container fed by the first feed means.
