PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defrosting control device for a refrigerator capable of stopping power distribution to a defrosting heater, and preventing smoke generation and firing from a connecting section when the defrosting heater is abnormal. SOLUTION: A defrosting control means 26 performs a defrosting operation in a state that the power distribution to the defrosting heater 12 is stopped by a defrosting heater power distribution terminating means 35, when the defrosting operation is performed after receiving a defrost abnormal signal from the defrosting abnormality diagnosing means 32.
