<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant for sharing proper data by automatically determining whether data is sharable, in response to a data sharing request of an optional timing. <P>SOLUTION: The personal digital assistant includes a server function section 106a, client function section 106f, response policy managing section 106b, redirect information managing section 106c, cache information managing section 106d, and telephone book managing section 106e. The server function section 106a processes request contents, in response to a request for data transfer from another personal digital assistant or a communication terminal and returns response.
