<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifrequency antenna element which has excellent communication sensitivity not only in a WiMax band but also in a wireless LAN band, further, has a simple structure and is suitable for downsizing as well, with respect to an antenna which is incorporated in information terminal equipment, etc., such as a personal computer or a PDA. <P>SOLUTION: A low-frequency side radiation element (1) which extends upwards from a left end of a wide power feeding part (3) and is returned, in an L shape, in parallel with a ground plate (4) is set. Furthermore, an L-shaped high-frequency side radiation element (2) which extends from a right end of the power feeding part (3) in proximate parallel with the low-frequency side radiation element (1) and of which the terminal portion is turned over upwards, is arranged.
