<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and camera which solve a lacked portion for switching between folded display and deployed display, and in playback or editing/print reservation or the like, easily switch a consecutively shot set image and each of consecutively shot in display. <P>SOLUTION: In the camera 10, a plurality of images are stored in a built-in memory and an external memory and images stored in these memories are displayed on a display section 15. Then, one of images displayed on the display section 15 is instructed by various buttons in an operating section.
