<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chronograph mechanism and chronograph timepiece certainly with a self positioning adjusting function when chronograph pointers consist of minute and second hands. <P>SOLUTION: The chronograph mechanism 2 of the chronograph timepiece has a flyback transmitting lever mechanism 6 consisting of a plurality of flyback transmitting levers and a flyback lever 50. Long holes 56 and 57 for guide of a guide arm of the flyback lever are formed so that the clearance in pressure contact of the long holes with two guide pins 51 and 52 when minute and second hammers are pressure-contacted with minute and second heart cams is larger than the clearance in pressure contact of the long holes with two guide pins when the minute and second hammers separate from the minute and second heart cams. The guide pins are arranged in the direction crossing the connecting line of the minute hand and second hand of the chronograph. When the force F received by an operating section 24d of the third flyback transmitting lever in the pulled direction of a section 53a to be operated of the flyback lever is balanced with the reaction forces F1 and F2 received from the minute and second heart cams, the position of the flyback lever is adjusted during operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
