<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily maintain and manage a file for managing the print setting function of a printer driver. <P>SOLUTION: A print setting change tool 20 of a printing system 5 includes: a setting entry change instruction part 22 for outputting the change information of print setting to a print setting file 30; and an authentication key generation part 24 for, when the change information is output to the print setting file 30, reading the authentication key of the print setting file 30, and for generating the next valid authentication key by applying a prescribed rule, and for reprogramming the authentication key of the print setting file 30 with the next valid authentication key. The printer driver 10 includes: an authentication key determination part 12 for determining whether to obtain the change information of the print setting file 30 based on the authentication key of the print setting file 30 and a prescribed rule; a setting entry reading part 14 for, when the change information is obtained, obtaining the change information of the print setting file 30; and a DevMode setting part 16 for reprogramming the print information related with print setting based on the obtained change information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
