<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively regulate movements of built-in articles of an endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The upper gastrointestinal endoscope 2 includes a bending portion 14 bending in vertical and horizontal directions. The bending portion 14 is configured by a plurality of bending pieces 20 connected by connecting pins 30, 31. The connecting pins 30, 31 are respectively integrated with wire guide portions 35, 39 where vertical and horizontal operational wires 43, 44 pushed and pulled in bending the bending portion 14 are inserted. Projecting parts 40 projecting in the direction of a diameter are provided on the connecting pins 31 disposed in an upward direction in which a bending angle of the bending portion 14 becomes the maximum and in the horizontal direction in which the bending angle is the second maximum, and the projecting part 40 is not provided on the connecting pin 30 disposed in the downward direction. The amount of projection of the projecting part 40 of the connecting pin 31 in the upward direction is greater than that of the horizontal direction. The projecting parts 40 regulate movements of the built-in articles such as a forceps channel 17 along the upward direction or the horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
