摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of restricting outbreaks of white smoke due to discharge of organic soluble components desorbed from an exhaust emission control catalyst into the air, restricting deterioration of comfortableness of occupants due to the noise caused by an increase of the rotating speed of a turbine. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic control device 100 executes the exhaust flow rate increasing control for increasing a flow rate of the exhaust passing through an exhaust emission control catalyst 31 by estimating the quantity of organic soluble components adsorbed to the exhaust emission control catalyst 31 and, when the estimated adsorption quantity of the organic soluble component is large, by reducing the quantity of the exhaust to be returned to an intake passage 20 through an exhaust recirculating mechanism 40 in comparison with a case wherein the estimate adsorption quantity is small. When the flow rate of the exhaust passing through the exhaust emission control catalyst 31 is being increased through the exhaust flow rate increasing control, the electric control device 100 increases opening of a nozzle vane 56 of a variable nozzle vane mechanism 54 in comparison with a case wherein the flow rate of the exhaust is not being increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
