PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underframe of a moving shelf which can prevent meandering and oblique passing even when the number of connections is increased in order to widen the frontage of the shelf and can be assembled in a short time. SOLUTION: The underframe of the moving shelf which has a shelf plate for mounting articles and is movable on rails laid in parallel through traveling wheels includes: a saddle 7 disposed on the rails, for rotatably supporting the traveling wheels and supporting a column to which the shelf plate is attached; a pair of frontage panels 8 disposed in a frontage direction which is the direction orthogonal to the laying direction of the rails, for connecting the pair of saddles 7 disposed on the rails so to have a rectangular shape in the plane view; and a pair of braces 9 disposed roughly in the diagonal shape of the rectangle. The saddles 7, the frontage panels 8 and the braces 9 are fixed near the wheel core of the traveling wheels at an end of the longitudinal direction of the brace 9 by a fixing bolt B.
