<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device with a plurality of electro-optical elements capable of obtaining stable electro-optical characteristics, an optical write-in head with the electro-optical device, an image forming apparatus, and an electronic apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 30 as the electro-optical device includes light-emitting elements 10 as electro-optical elements arrayed in zigzag on a substrate in a first direction (an X-direction), and barrier ribs 11 zoning each film-forming region E containing two light-emitting elements 10 as one unit and zoning the plurality of light-emitting elements 10 into a plurality of units. At least one film constituting the light-emitting elements 10 is formed in a film-forming region E with the use of a liquid process, and the film-forming region E consists of an element zone 13 with the light-emitting elements 10 fitted, and a liquid pool part 12 with an area larger than that of the element zone 13 and connected to the same 13.
